CPD for SEN Teachers 

The Northern Ireland Assembly Education Service invites SEN teachers to take part in a professional learning day on Friday 24 April in Parliament Buildings.

Programme content: 

• The role of the Assembly and Executive, and how they impact the lives of young people 
• Assembly elections - the next election is May 2027!
• How laws are made and how young people can have their say
• Pupil representation in special schools
• Programmes and resources provided by the Assembly’s Education Service, including educational visits to Parliament Buildings for special schools
• The UK Parliament’s programme for special schools
