9,713 young people took part in the Education Programme in total
252 groups (7,948 students) particpated in the programme in Parliament Buildings
40 groups (1,765 students) joined us online from their classroom
92 teachers took part in Professional Learning workshops
88% of groups represented the 18 constituencies in Northern Ireland and 12% of groups came from outside of Northern Ireland (Ireland, England, Scotland, Europe and USA)
65 MLAs took part in Q&A Sessions with students in Parliament Buildings and online
60 young people from different school sectors discussed the Silent Testimony portraits with artist Colin Davidson and took part in a Q&A with 6 MLAs to mark the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement in April 2023
10 Committee Clerks took part in 33 talks with students
4 final Year B Ed trainee teachers from Stranmillis University completed a 2-week placement with the Education Service in January 2023
3 animations were published on the Education Service website
2 ‘Academic Reflections’ talks were recorded with Dr D McCann and Dr C Rice
1 eco bag design competition for schools
