Teachers invited to book the Assembly’s Free Education Programme

Arrange an educational visit for your pupils to Parliament Buildings, Stormont. The education programme is free and is available to all schools.

The programme is tailored to meet the needs of different Key Stages. It supports curriculum requirements, particularly for AS and GCSE Government and Politics, Citizenship, History (post primary) and the World Around Us (primary).

A visit lasts between 1.5 – 2 hours and includes a tour, presentation, activity, and opportunity to engage in an MLA Q & A session.

We advise early booking, as availability is limited.

Can’t visit this year?

We also offer virtual visits, via MS Teams and aim to fit in with your school timetable, as far as possible. A session includes a presentation and opportunity for pupils to ask questions. We can also arrange a virtual Q & A with MLAs.

To find out more and to book a session, please email education.service@niassembly.gov.uk or telephone 9052 1833 or 9052 1896.
