Submit an application for the UK Supreme Court's 'Ask A Justice' programme 2019

The UK Supreme Court Education and Outreach team is pleased to announce the launch of its new programme ‘Ask a Justice’ following a successful pilot in 2018.

This offers students with a keen interest in law a unique chance to have a live question and answer session with a Justice from their very own classroom!

This is an exciting new opening for schools who may find a visit to Parliament Square, London difficult to have the opportunity to get an insight into the work and importance of The Supreme Court and of the law and justice system in the UK in general.

These sessions will run between the months of January - May 2019 and provide students with the opportunity to have an informal discussion with Justices about their career and their experiences.

Each session will offer 10 students the opportunity to speak for approximately three minutes with the Justice. The entire session will last no longer than 30 minutes.

Applications must be made by teachers from accredited teaching institutions (schools or colleges) for Years 12-14 in Northern Ireland. Applications will be accepted on behalf of students studying all subject disciplines.

This exciting new scheme will be highly beneficial for students and their studies.

The deadline for submission will be the 30 November 2018. Candidates will be contacted by mid December 2018.
