Invitation to teachers of Government & Politics - 3rd Oct 2017

A date for the diary!

The annual Education Service Government and Politics conference will take place in Parliament Buildings on Tuesday 3rd October 2017.

This popular event gives teachers the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the work of the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive, and to hear about new Education Service resources.

The conference is free and lunch is provided. Speakers at this year's event include Professor Rick Wilford on the 'Northern Ireland Political Landscape', Professor David Phinnemore on 'Brexit and Northern Ireland', and Neill Jackson, Head of the Executive Division, TEO. The full programme for the event is below.

To book a conference place, contact the Education Service at education.service@niassembly.gov.uk, or telephone 02890 521833/02890 521896.

Also, don't forget to book an education programme for your students. You can visit Parliament Buildings or an Education Officer can come out to your school.

With best wishes for the new school year.
