Upcoming #LordsLive and #AskTheSpeaker sessions with UK Parliament

The UK Parliament has two upcoming sessions in which pupils from schools in Northern Ireland can engage directly with Westminster via an interactive video session.

The first of these is on Thursday 7th March 2019, between 09:30 and 10:00/10:15 and gives pupils between the ages of 10 and 18 the opportunity to put questions to Lord McFall, Senior Deputy Leader of the House of Lords.

Submit an application for the UK Supreme Court's 'Ask A Justice' programme 2019

The UK Supreme Court Education and Outreach team is pleased to announce the launch of its new programme ‘Ask a Justice’ following a successful pilot in 2018.

This offers students with a keen interest in law a unique chance to have a live question and answer session with a Justice from their very own classroom!

This is an exciting new opening for schools who may find a visit to Parliament Square, London difficult to have the opportunity to get an insight into the work and importance of The Supreme Court and of the law and justice system in the UK in general.

Work for the Electoral Office!

The Electoral Office wants to encourage young people to come and work for them. At election time, they recruit around 5,000 people to carry out all kinds of jobs, from working in polling stations to assisting in the count venues.
