Northern Ireland Affairs Committee - Inquiry into Education Funding

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee is examining whether schools in Northern Ireland have the funding they need to meet the challenges facing education, and what the spending priorities should be for the Department of Education.

Are you someone who:

  • Manages or teaches at a school in Northern Ireland
  • Is concerned about school funding in Northern Ireland ?

If so, come to the event and help shape the inquiry. The Committee will use participants’ comments to inform the inquiry’s conclusions and recommendations for the Government.

  • What are the areas of greatest need in the education sector in Northern Ireland?
  • Is there enough funding to improve educational outcomes in Northern Ireland?
  • How can funding be used to support the different school sectors in Northern Ireland, including schools for children with special educational needs and disabilities?
